Artists For Progress is held our second silent auction, “Art of the Steal,” in support of the ACLU and Planned Parenthood on November 9th, 2017.
“Art of the Steal” was a rallying cry to fight hate and intolerance with creativity and hope. A time to resist silencing, to mobilize against what is wrong, and to speak out rather than be numbed. In support of causes that are fighting for the marginalized and oppressed, near $25k was raised, to keep progressing towards truth, inclusiveness, acceptance, tolerance and love.

JANUARY 27TH, 2017 AT THE PIRANHA SHOP, 1022 1ST AVENUE SOUTH, SEATTLE, WA
On January 27, 2017 Artists For Progress held its first benefit at The Piranha Shop in Seattle, WA. More than 35 artists donated original works as part of a silent auction that raised $15,000 for Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. Highlights included a rare 1991 print of Nirvana from legendary music photographer Charles Peterson, and an incredible selection of fine art, photography, and sculpture.
